Extra-Curricular:

The Following are the extra-curricular activities I have participated in.

Power Team/

S.W.A.T

Power Team was a program I was apart of my 6th and 7th-grade year. This program taught the participants the leadership skills they will need in the future.

S.W.A.T is the advanced version of Power Team. Covering the skills that I learned in Power Team, but using them within the school.

Beta Club

Club Director: Rebbeca Hartfield

(Rebbeca.Hartield@Hallco.org)

Requirement:

The requirement is to have at 3.0 GPA or higher.

Beta Club taught me that there is so much more to a school. That there is so much you can do for your school and the schools around you. Between wrapping boxes for people in need and receiving and opportunity to do community service, it was an absolute blast getting to help out and seeing the outcome of what we created.

Atlas Advisory Council

Council Director: Kimberly Boyd

(Kimberly.Boyd@Hallco.org)

Requirement:

The requirement is to apply via essay. The essay had to include your accomplishments and your future plans.

In the Atlas Advisory Council, I got to come up with ideas to help out with the Atlas program. Atlas is a

pre-International Baccalaureate program. In this program, I revived more rigorous work than an average High School student. So within the advisory council, I along with a dozen others got to come up with ideas for what this program could be and do.

Marching Band / Concert Band

Band Director: Kevin Carwille

(Kevin.Carwille@hallco.org)

Concert and Marching Band was always a passion of mine. With concert band I received the chance to learn three different instruments, which were alto saxophone, baritone saxophone, and clarinet. Marching Band was a way for myself to learn a whole new way to entertain a crowd. Because of band I became a more open person and found something to put my heart and soul into (much like I do with anything I am apart of).
